Peer Alumni Study Support Scheme (PASS) aims to support students, especially freshman, in overcoming their learning difficulties, and acquiring tertiary learning skills. As a year 2 student and tutor in Operation Management, supporting year 1 students on academic really needs 2 way communications. As a majority of year 1 students normally is quite passive, they are reflecting how I response or react in lessons. It clears my mind that how I should communicate with taking the initiatives, triggering their interests as well!

 

PASS strengthens the connection between Year 1, Year 2 students and alumni. Aside from academic, we talk as friends. PASS is really a valuable scheme as it strengthens connection between all ABAA students, a good way to pass the flame of remembrance onto the next generation.
