After the International Snow Sculpture Contest, accountability is a brand-new definition to me. I used to think that accomplishing something is to be accountable for the others, for example, parents and teachers. To be accountable for myself is not always the first priority. However, accountability is never that simple. To be accountable for the others will never do a great job. That is what I discovered during the contest. My team and I didn’t have much time as the other teams. If I finish the snow sculpture for the others, the final product will not be done as what we planned. Because the others may realize that my team only has 3 days to get the job done which is 2 days less than the others. In this trip “Spirit of Discovery”, however, makes me understand “Accountability”. Finally, I did my best to complete the snow sculpture as what we planned.
